A charming European figural note pad holder, this has a silver plated cover that is hinged at the top & heavily embossed with a beautiful country scene with musicians playing.
The back of the pad is of a hardwood, with felt to the reverse, the lid is marked with the fish back stamp for Hans Jensen as well as Denmark.
This eye catching collectible is in excellent condition with an attractive patina and some light rubbed wear to the plate commensurate with age and use.
The pad measures about 6" length by 3 1/4" width, it would be lovely on a desk or by a telephone. See photos for more detail.
